Tonight’s concert info... Parents and students, Due to the irregularity of the weather and the current conditions we are unable to set up electronic equipment outside. So, we have decided to move the event inside tonight and make it a virtual event via Facebook Live as well as the radio. The only thing we are eliminating is the drive in portion. If cars want to park in the parking lot, they are more than welcome to do so. We will not be allowing audience members in the build...ing. People can still tune to KWRT 1370 AM, 98.7 FM or online at www.1370kwrt.com to listen on the radio. We will still have set up in the commons with risers, equipment and decorating to provide scenery for the Facebook Live. Please be here for your assigned times unless you were helping with the hot chocolate or the ticket taking and parking cars. Those jobs are no longer needed. If you have any questions you may call me at (816)804-3302. Because this is a fundraiser, if people want to make their ticket a donation, we would be happy to write them a receipt for tax purposes. We will be recording this live event professionally and making CD's that we will be offering for any donations of $10 or more. BREAKING NEWS #2...... Read Carefully.... Dear Pirate Community:... I want to make you aware of instructional delivery changes we will implement at Boonville High School, BHS Alternative School, and BTEC. Beginning Monday, December 14th the high school, Alternative School, and BTEC will move to virtual instruction for the remainder of 1st semester. Last evening and this morning our health team received and reviewed health data specifically regarding high school age students. We have seen a significant increase within the past 24 hours in the number of high school age students ordered to quarantine or isolate as well as an increase in COVID-19 community transmission rates of high school age students. Our Health Team, Administrative Team, and Board of Education President all believe moving to virtual instruction for the remainder of the semester is the most responsible decision we can make for our students and staff. PLEASE NOT THIS CHANGE ONLY PERTAINS TO BHS, BTEC, AND ALTERNATIVE HS STUDENTS. LSE, David Barton, and Hannah Cole Primary Schools are not impacted or changing instruction at this time. We continue to have very low rates of students in isolation or in quarantine at LSE, DB, and HCP.

BREAKING NEWS...... Boonville HIgh School extra-curricular activities will be paused starting Monday December 14th-December 25th. All events will be postponed in hopes of rescheduling them at a later date. Boonville will finish the Centralia basketball tournament as scheduled tonight and Saturday.... Boonville wrestling will compete in tomorrow's wrestling tournament at Versailles Practices will be paused as well.
