Good afternoon Aid Animal family! Our friends at the Gardner Police Department are having a fundraiser that will help build new facilities for the K9 department. These working dogs need an area to train, run off energy, as well as have a place to stay if their handler goes out of town. It's extremely difficult to find boarding facilities that are able to take care of police dogs, and having a dedicated place for them to go is essential. There will be a powerlifting event on ...Saturday, July 10th that includes a 5k, 10k, powerlifting, a half mile "fun run" and a K9 demo. Please see the pictures below for more info! If you want to contribute but can't make it to the event, we have a simple way to donate to our K9 officers! If you give a $20.00 (cash) donation to us at Aid Animal Hospital, you will receive one of these adorable "Zeus" stuffed animals! The real life Zeus is an amazing canine officer, and a favorite patient of ours! Please help us support the dedicated K9 officers who risk their lives and work their tails off for us! Just stop by and pick up your Zeus anytime, or call 816-363-4922 if you have any questions. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Garder Police Department. See more

Thank you to Linda for the beautiful flowers you guys sent! Waylon, Cailey and the whole Aid Animal crew appreciate the pop of color and positivity (especially in this cold weather) during our workdays.

Aid Animal Hospital 02.02.2021

Hey guys! Waylon is checking in from his post at the front desk. He may be crate bound and unsure of why he can't get up and walk like normal, but he has a GREAT attitude! It will be a few weeks (most likely) before we know if he's making progress towards our goal of walking. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

It’s been a very rough couple of days for a member of the Aid Animal crew that many of you know and love. Our receptionist, Cailey and her family had quite a scare. Despite diligently keeping her 5-year-old pup from jumping too much and taking the stairs, Waylon suffered a detrimental injury to his spine. Dr. Rowe sent Waylon to Blue Pearl for emergency surgery, which would produce news of a whooping four ruptured discs and serious cause for concern. Today, Cailey picked h...im up from the ER, and they’re going home with a 50% chance of him walking again. The fantastic staff at Blue Pearl kept him comfortable and safe. Waylon’s surgeon, Dr. Weinstein, worked quickly to give him the best chance he has to be pain free and hopefully get back on his feet. We’re giving a HUGE shoutout to Blue Pearl and their compassionate, knowledgeable team. We are so glad to know and work with you all. Dr. Rowe is planning to closely monitor Waylon, and we’ll be doing acupuncture and laser therapy to increase Waylon’s chances of being mobile again. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as we start this long journey together, we’ll keep you updated on Waylon’s progress. Thank you for your support while we pull together to help give Cailey and her family the best chance for recovery possible!

Well well well. Facebook has us all confused and unable to STAY logged in (and gee whiz but we’ve tried). Stay patient. We have back door ways of getting in but we may not get to your messages right away. Patience as we navigate this boo boo with Facebook support.

Aid Animal Hospital 01.11.2020

Good afternoon everyone! Happy Friday from Luke. This little guy has the right idea, he stays laid back and easy going even during the chaos of "rush hour" that we sometimes experience here at Aid. Rest assured, when you are waiting in the parking lot or waiting on hold, please know that we are working hard to get you and your pet assistance ASAP. Here at Aid, we have many things going on behind the scenes that you can't always see from outside. We have to be thorough, giv...ing each patient compassionate and careful attention. Each pet and their family is equally as important as the next and it takes time to provide quality care. Our doctors normally have a packed schedule, and it's rare to see a day go by without unplanned situations popping up. Although we strive to be as punctual as possible, we know people have had long wait times before. And we want to thank you so much for waiting! And thank you for your patience! It's also important to note that our phones are not broken, in fact we've just added a fourth line. If you call and get a busy signal, please keep calling until you get through to a receptionist. We do as much communication as possible over the phone, so please bring your cell phone when you come to visit us for anything that requires communication. If you don't have a cell phone, just give us a call from your home phone and we will get all arrangements worked out before you arrive. We are absolutely dedicated to serving you and keeping our Aid Animal family healthy, as well as our employees. As the months go on, we will need to support each other more than ever, and we are grateful to have you all! We're here for you, and we can't thank you enough for your support and love, especially over the past few months. God Bless, and have a great weekend!

Hello AAH family! Meet our sweet friend, Squirt. This cutie pie is a 3mo (female) kitten who is up to date on her vaccines. She is GREAT with cats and dogs, she has had a lot of play time with our clinic animals. Squirt loves head scratches and cuddles (especially after her play dates with our clinic cats). She has the best personality and would fit in great with anyone looking to expand their family Call us at 816 363 4922 for more details . . .... More about Squirt: she came to us a few months back with a badly broken leg, but the great thing about babies is that they heal very quickly! This strong baby healed up all on her own and is stronger and faster than ever! Her leg is completely healed (no surgery) and she has full function with no problems keeping up with our other animals.
