Would you stay in this 727 in Costa Rica for $300-$500 a night? Very cool regardless! I'd say the best example of an airliner home conversion that I've seen yet. https://youtu.be/Pj7vnxe_Yd4

Good morning everyone! Here is a quick slideshow of our entire week in Alabama rescuing our DH-104 Riley Rocket converted Dove! From 12hr drive through the night, disassembly, loading, pulling spares out of the weeds, sinking the Hawker 125 jet in place of our Dove (we were 2 weeks away from being too late), loading spares, hauling everything 12hrs back to KC and unloading for display at the museum! Quite the undertaking that couldnt have been done without 1 less single person or organization that pitched in to help out! Many more stories and segments to come on this backstory and the future of our Doves. Stop by and see our newest edition as well as our other exhibits and aircraft! Have a great weekend everyone!

Good morning everyone! For those who have been by the museum recently and have noticed our 2nd...yes 2nd...Dove...this is not our DH-104 Riley Rocket Conversion Dove that is on display inside the museum. That particular airframe sitting outside is actually 1 of 4 spare original airframes that came with our Riley Conversion DH-104 Dove, along with several original Gipsy Queen engines, flight controls, seats, interior panels, etc, literally truck loads of spare parts! Our hope is to someday in the future, build an origianl DH-104 Dove with all of the spares that we have aquired.

Also during your Amazon holiday shopping if youd like to help the museum, Amazon is donating a portion of your purchase to "Save-a-Connie" at no additional cost to you. Click on the link, smile.amazon.com, select "Save-A-Connie" as your organization and Amazon will take care of the rest. Happy shopping!

Episode #2 of our recent trip to Alabama to rescue our newest addition to the collection! With the help of Dodson International Parts, C & D Aviation, Restored Aircraft Sales & Service, LLC and American Drilling Crane Division we coldn't have made it happen! It was quite the battle against those red wasps in Alabama although they only seemed to bother 1 of our crew in particular. Enjoy!
