Barnwell Middle School 11.01.2021

Today was a great day to compete for 3 of the 5 Barnwell Robotics teams, even with it snowing. The teams competing were Masked Bandits, Eggo My LEGO & Code Red. All the teams did a great job of showing gracious professionalism in this modified FLL Robotics competition this year. They went to compete for about 2 hours each with running their robots (4x) on the playing field board & then going into the judges room to present all 3 areas back-to-back. All teams have to resea...rch and design an innovative project around this year’s theme, health & fitness, present their robot design & programming, and lastly, talk about how the team shows the FLL Core Values in and outside of Robotics. Each of our Barnwell teams did a wonderful job competing & showing the 4 B’s. For the Awards Ceremony, the First Robotics team from Lutheran HS presented the awards via a FIRST YouTube Channel for everyone to be able to participate safely due to COVID. At the end of the day, Eggo My LEGO (Team #5977) won the Core Values Award in the Blue Division. They also won one of two golden tickets in the Blue Division to go to the FLL State competition on March 27th. Congratulations to Eggo My LEGO for their accomplishments and to the Masked Bandits & Code Red for a great job of competing today.
