A client looking for a new home for their dog. If interested in adopting call Ashley. Phone number below. Brexie is a ~6-year old Rottweiler that we rescued about 2-years ago from the Lawrence, KS humane society. She is smart, eager to please, laid back and very affectionate. She thinks she is an 80lb lap dog! She is 100% potty trained, goes to her crate when you say "kennel up" and has good manners - no jumping, sits, stays, lays in her "spot" while we're eating, etc. She... will lick you though! She also has great manners in the car and enjoys going for rides. She is spayed and up to date on all shots. She has signs of arthritis in a front elbow, so she is on anti-inflammatory meds that help keep it at bay. No other health concerns. We have kids ages 6, 8 and 9 that Brexie does really well with. Unfortunately, we've had issues with her nipping the neighbors' kids. The kids haven't been mean to her or provoked her that we're aware of. We have a lot of kids coming and going and think that a home without little kids might be a better fit for Brexie. We have tried training and socialization but it hasn’t improved. She plays well with other dogs both big and small (we have another 80lb dog). She chases cats but it seems playful not aggressive. Ashley Barb 573-808-5744 See more

Please be a responsible pet owner and get your new puppy vaccinated against Parvo. Parvo is very contagious, it is costly to treat and can be deadly. Puppies should have 3 boosters against Parvo before the age of 20 weeks. Then once yearly thereafter.
