James S. McDonnell Planetarium (Saint Louis, 1963). Designed By Gyo Obata, and located inside of Forest Park. In 2000, this building was remodeled to house a larger planetarium. City Museum received the steel frame and it was turned it into our Rooftop Dome.
Just another reminder that Pinball Hall will be closed this weekend. But we'd still love to see you. Get tickets at http://bit.ly/VisitCM2021.
For many of the parents here at City Museum, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday presents an opportunity to teach our kids what it means to be accepting of all and work toward a better future. Even when it's uncomfortable. Here is a resource many of us use. Thank you to all who work toward equity.
No Pinball Hall this weekend! We hope it’s not a big inconvenience.

Once again, a hobby becomes a City Museum exhibit. Antique Judkin Manufacturing Braiding Machines were restored by Mike Killian who installed them at City Museum. Aside from the shoe factory connection, the machines created a unique interactive exhibit. There are a variety of machines used, including 1980s models. Come see them today. They usually open at 11AM.
