We are a $100 min shop, and yes that is more expensive than most shops!!Why might you ask??Ok ill explain, sooo me and my crew use the most expensive materials ...for your tattoos ensuring that you get a quality tattoo, we use saniderm for aftercare to ensure that your tattoo heals correctly and it looks just like it did when you got it...So on an average w gloves ,cartridge needles ,ink , caps ,sanitation and sterilization of your artists area, use of machines and prep on an average id say your artist is using at least $20 worth of material possibly $30 on an occasion.. so for you small $100 tattoo after the shop cut your artist is down to making $20 to $40 on your small tattoo, thats why its so important to tip your artist!!Me beeing the owner the cut the shop gets from the artists goes to bills ,advertising ,bettering the shop, paper towels ,a&d ,sterilization products for my artists to use, rent ,utilities ect..i supply alot for my artists, and it adds up and i make sure my shop is top notch and everyone that comes knows its a pristine shop were running there!! I also get that my $100 min may not be for everybody and im ok w that and am more than happy to refer you to any of my sister shops up north or out south that could better fit your budget!!I get it guys, i also try to help people understand that these are for life and cheap tattoos arent good, people will go out and buy a $200 pair of shoes that last for a few months (words off wisdom, by Weird Harold Simmons ) but bitch about paying for something that lasts for life running a tattoo parlor isnt for everyone its not an easy job, for all you other shop owners know!! I ensure my employees arent arrogant assholes and do there job to the fullest to give you the best most comfortable shop experience youll find, if its your first time getting tattooed or your 50th!! I run a tight ship guys and if any of you knew the blood sweat and tears ive put into my buisness and know me and my history, youll come support us ,IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A CHEAP TATTOO, DIVINE IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!TY everyone for listening to me vent and to everyone that come to join the divine family, we all love all your faces and ty for your continued support at divine!! Everyone at divine ive taught yes and take pride in that, and half of them are apprentices yes!!Will you pay full price for an apprentice tattoo, yes!Ty for helping them and supporting them to sharpen there trade!! In a few years when there famous you'll be able to say i got inked by them some artists dont agree w passing the trade down and thats ok, when i die i just want a few people that can say Russ Quinn taught meSoo do you think were expensive now with that bit of knowledge??Maybe you do still and thats ok, go support the big shops then we dont mind, but know this, ever person there is 110% into there craft and take pride in everything we do, are we famousno were not and prob never will be and were ok w that, some come support the small guy and dont bitch about our $100 min. either!!
