Monday Morning Musings: We are powerful. More powerful than we’ll ever give ourselves credit for. Our thoughts, our words, our breath. As we breathe and step into our power, remember how special you are. You are unique. You can handle whatever comes your way..Aho.

I got a visit from my old friend anger yesterday. It came on quickly when my husband, dog and I were attacked by a dog during our evening walk. As I reflected on what happened this morning and was treating my shock, I realized how I was really feeling, and what underlied my anger, and it was fear. It was an I should’ve known this as well as an AHA moment as I took this in. I’ve known for awhile that my go to emotion is anger. Anger has served me well in the past for safet...y and protection, until it became a barrier in my relationships. As I began to fully acknowledge this, I was able to finally relax and breathe and begin to release the shock in my heart and body. I have come to realize that there are no bad emotions, they’re just feelings that will help us learn and grow if we’re open to allowing ourselves to be with them, and explore them in a gentle way. We have to remind ourselves that we can have many emotions at once and some serve as a coverup to others. May we all be willing to go inward and explore when we need to. We can do this from a place of love and compassion.... See more

Morning thoughts during meditation: I feel most connected to the Divine when I’m moving and fully present in my body and my chakras are flowing... Meditation doesn’t always have to be sitting silently or following a guided meditation. Do whatever your soul inspires you to do. Meditation is many things, a gentle place of soul and divine connectedness. This isn’t always sitting pretty and quietly. And, most importantly, we don’t have to be physically present with someone to be present with them. Long distance reiki and sending someone love with our thoughts and prayers is just as powerful. Visualize them, send love straight from your heart to theirs, or wherever you feel they need it in their energy space or body. This is very powerful and healing. Love to all of you today blessed souls....thanks for letting me share...

In my meditation today I keep coming back to the cycle of life. As I walk and run in my most favorite relaxing place, seeing families in all different generational and developmental phases, I think back to my early times here in the park with my kids. When they could barely walk, to strolls with our beloved animals, to eventually being able to run together. Now I find myself seeing them branch out and move into their own adulthood and lives. It’s both exciting, sad and bittersweet. I give thanks for being able to be present through all of this, and the gift of soul relationships and families. Blessings as we all continue to move through our earthly lessons and phases....

As I sit in meditation this morning, I’m contemplating all the phases of life...the cycle of life. Birth, growth, release, and the eventual rebirth and change, as the phases come. It’s magical and a mystery all at the same time. Intense joy and sadness all at once. Being with the dichotomy is a process. A process of learning, all within itself. Savor every moment. The joy and the sadness. It’s all important and it creates the emotional stamina and space needed for other events we’ll face in life. Gratitude for the lesson and for the opportunity. Embrace the moments.
