Congratulations Class 142 - our first graduating class in 2021! Fifty fathers and mothers graduated last week from FFSC's (virtual), six-week Family Formation, benefitting over 200 children who have more responsible parents today! As with previous classes this year, Class 142 participated in online virtual classrooms daily, which were set up in mid-March 2020 when COVID first hit.... Guest speaker, Brad Stockton, engineering leader at Boeing and FFSC board member, gave an inspiring talk, congratulating graduates on their commitment to complete the six-week program. Dorrian Gray, class speaker, shared this about his experience at FFSC: "I came in as a boy, and FFSC taught me how to be a man and a father. From now on, I'm going to do whatever it takes to be in my child's life."

#ffscstrong Thanks to our friends at the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and its Motion For Kids project, FFSC received new toys and gifts to distribute to low-income families in St. Clair County Illinois for the holidays. "Since FFSC opened its East St. Louis satellite site a few months ago, fathers have been calling to enroll in our six-week Family Formation program with yearlong follow up," said Community Outreach Coordinator, Reginald Slaughter. "These families have waited so long for help, and it's a blessing to begin the process of building better families and brighter futures for children in Illinois."
