Just a few steps from Magnolia is The Findery. It is the real attraction of Waco IMHO. They are great at layering textures with a masterful mix of unique vintage items with newer home decor. What items or ideas catch your eye? I love that old scale and the use of greens and blues.

We made a quick impromptu stop in Waco at Magnolia. Tim and I were here three years ago and can see how much has been added. Kudos to Gaines & crew for creating more of an experience beyond shopping which includes the new chapel and whiffle ball field. The weather was perfect for enjoying all the outdoor areas but lines were long. (Their Sweet Tea is worth the wait though.)... We passed on the wait to get into Magnolia Market but were able to easily move around inside Magnolia Home. I got a few photos but realize I should have taken more. Tomorrow I’ll tell you about another place we visited in Waco that was full of inspiration for me. I came away with lots of pics there. Who has been to Magnolia? Who would like to visit?

Most of yesterday’s stops in Round Top /Warrenton were the kind you have to dig through to find treasure. Our efforts were rewarded at most but the work wasn’t very conducive to good photos. But one place was a pure delight. Today I bring you with us to Funky Junky Antiques. Elizabeth, the owner, is wonderful and a Round Top fixture with this being her 31st year of shows. Take in the vintage beauty of beautiful English ironstone and so much more...... I came away with some gorgeous pieces. What would you have grabbed?

Well, let’s not talk about what happened last night in Tampa... Taking a break from decorating/renovations today... It’s Happy Birthday Week to two of my favorite people. Every Tuesday morning Tim and I scurry about to get ready for the week’s Tuesday Twelve at Twelve Facebook Live. We often giggle about what a fun but unusual undertaking it is. We began doing the Facebook Lives during the April shutdown. It was a leap into a realm we weren’t at all familiar with but we have come to look forward to doing them each week. ... We are thrilled to have so many wonderful people joining us on a regular basis each week, several who live in other states. Tim is happy to wave at us from behind the camera but it was nice to have him join me for a bit last week to talk about his book Soul Sketches. Join in the fun today at noon Central. Tim and I reworked the windows at Festoons and Filigree yesterday to fill in spaces where items were purchased, including the nativity set. It was claimed a week ago but the new owners were kind enough to allow us to keep it on display during the Christmas Parade. Although it was bittersweet to take down the nativity set, check out the last photo to see it in its new location. The family picked it up yesterday and no time was wasted in setting it up. ... I like our reworked window display especially the tree filled with little flocked Santas. We had a great day for our Small Town Christmas and such fun at the Fair Grove Christmas Parade sponsored by our Chamber of Commerce. Here’s a look at some of the happenings that were topped off by a visit from our cutie grandson.
