In times of crisis, the people of St. Louis have always banded together to help one another make it through. This pandemic is no different. I love my neighborhood, and thought there would be no better way to give back than to offer my services to the people of Shaw as "stoop shoots". I'm meeting families, couples, friends, and wonderful people out on their front steps and shooting them from the sidewalk (from a very socially appropriate distance). This project has brought me... so much joy over the last few weeks and continues to do so. I truly live in the best neighborhood there is! When your shoot is posted, please tag yourself and your family in them! I'll be adding my favorites from each home's shoot to this album over the next several weeks. If you see my camera and I out wandering in the Shaw/Tower Grove area, say hi! IMPORTANT: I limited this project to those residing in Shaw specifically, as everywhere I am shooting is a part of where I would typically walk when going for a stroll in the neighborhood. This is to keep what little risk there is between myself and those participating as minimal as possible, and for the good of the greater public's health. I am fully abiding by the stay at home order as are the individuals participating in these shoots. Additionally, at this time I am not currently scheduling additional shoots apart from those already on my calendar. I am overwhelmed with the amount of support this project has received and my calendar has completely filled up at this time. THANK YOU!!! <3
