Hey Gators!! Want to put your creative footprint on GSA Middle School for years to come and help out the school community? Join us for our special FREE summer school enrichment program, "Service, Sustainability, and Design". During this program, students will work in teams to ideate, design and build an outdoor classroom and garden for our staff, students and families to enjoy for years to come. Students will participate in activities that are not only enriching, but rewardi...ng as well. A team of GSA Middle School teachers will help students broaden their knowledge and skills of fine art, science, math, technology, and ELA skills through an integrated service learning project exploring the areas of design, engineering, botany, gardening, art, environmentalism, civic engagement, and community service. We hope you decide to join us for the fun opportunity! Some of the experience will be outdoors. Monday, June 7 through Friday, June 25 8:00 AM-12:00 PM on Fyler Campus Open to all current 6th--8th grade students not enrolled in "credit" recovery summer school. Breakfast and lunch provided. Hello GSA Middle and High School Families, This Wednesday (4/7), a large portion of our staff will be receiving their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine; side effects are anticipated in the first 24-48 hours following the vaccine. Due to this significant number of staff who might or might not be able to teach in person at school Thursday, GSA Middle and High School will be 100% virtual on Thursday, April 8. This is applicable to the GSA Fyler campus only, Smiley and South Elementary schools will continue their in-person classes as planned. Please look out for individual communication early this week from each teacher on the details of how their Thursday's classes will be administered. Thank you all.
