Happy Veterans Day! About 10% of the veterans in the U.S. are women. At Girls on the Run, we believe that girls can achieve their dreams including fighting for our freedom. We are so grateful for all past, present, and future members of the military for their dedication to our country!

At Girls on the Run, we believe every girl deserves a place to grow, connect and shine. In recent months, our community has seen an increased rate of trauma, stressors, and social isolation. Our girls need the social-emotional learning objective from our program now more than ever! This Fall, we saw an increase in requests for program scholarships. We need your gift to help us serve every girl that needs to participate in Girls on the Run. This giving season is your chance to inspire a girl to discover her limitless potential. We would like to thank 816 Run Club for all of their support of the Girls on the Run virtual 5K this upcoming Saturday! Their members are volunteering to be virtual running buddies for the girls on our team at Citizens of the World Charter School by making each girl an encouraging video to watch before her big 5K accomplishment.
