A Turning Point is now operating a new program, The Guesthouse, at a second location. The Guesthouse provides a place for folks in crisis to access showers, laundry facilities, a hot meal, computers, and case management services. We are looking for volunteers to assist with this program on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 am - 2 pm. It can be really easy to get overwhelmed with the darkness, that we miss seeing the light. May you be more aware in your life. And may the "boundary lines" fall for you, so you can see God in all moments.

Hear about an opportunity for kids to give a candy tithe!

Each week during online worship, we offer the opportunity for you to take part in the sacrament of communion - to share in the meal of remembrance from across the screen. As a special treat, you will have the opportunity to receive the elements in a drive-through fashion at any one of our 3 campuses. We will practice safe protocols as we share the bread (or gluten cracker) and cup (juice) and offer a prayer over your family as you go. Would you like a tangible way to teach y...our kids about generosity? Would you like to get rid of some of that candy your kids will come home with on Halloween? Here's the perfect solution: Candy Tithe! After the Halloween Trick-or-Treating, have your kids count out their candy into two piles. Counting to ten, put the first piece of candy in one pile, and the next 9 pieces of candy in another pile. Repeat until you've counted it all, then stand back and take a look: in the first pile - you have a tithe - or 10% of the gifts that were given. Bring your candy tithe to church during our drive-through candy tithe. We’ll donate it to our military service members and children in Venezuela. Make plans to load up the vehicle and share as a church family. Both of these events are happening on Sunday, November 1 between 4 and 5 pm.
