Don Sahli, internationally known artist from Evergreen, Colorado, is coming to Southeast Missouri. Sept. 30 - from 6 to 9pm, he will do a painting demonstration at Lynn Lancaster's studio in Sikeston. Oct. 1,2 & 3 - he will teach a PleinAir and Still Life workshop at Renee's - the Gravel Hill School of Art in Burfordville. ... He will also be doing a demonstration and lecture at SEMO University being arranged by Ellen Hahs, Curator of Education at Crisp Museum. As a painter, Don Sahli has an extraordinary legacy in Russian Impressionism. He was the last scholarship student and apprentice of Sergei Bongart, the great Russian master and colorist.
