Yesterday was a busy day full of giving in the Christmas spirit! We packed homeless bags full of cold weather essentials, socks, snacks and water, hygiene and of course masks in true 2020 style! All completed with a pocket size Bible so all will know that they are loved!

Last month, we were blessed to have a group of extremely talented local musicians perform at our Recovery Community Center. The lights were low and the stage was set for an octet; four violins, two violas and two cellos. They performed the Mendelssohn Octet and several selected solo works. The experience was very moving and the room sounded great. Click on the link below to enjoy the full concert!

We had a great time yesterday giving turkeys, toys and more to our community. We saw 67 adults and 146 children and nearly 200 toys were given away and 61 turkeys to families throughout the Northeast. We so enjoy spreading Christmas cheer!

Today's the day! For the turkey giveaway to families in Northeast KC. One per family. Also available are school supplies and toys. Children must be present to take home a toy. ... We'll be here from 2-6 PM in the parking lot.

Congratulations to the Founder and Director on 25 years of sobriety. God, continue to bless her with the strength to support those in need, the words to spread the H. H. ministry work throughout this nation and provide a hedge of protection along her walk. WE LOVE YOU MOM!
