As you consider your charitable giving, we ask that you join us to help support our students and the work KCAI is doing to Imagine what the world has yet to see. There's still time to reserve a free ticket to Emory Douglas: Some American History! Douglas created the visual identity for the Black Panther Party and his iconic graphics came to symbolize the struggles of the movement.
With less than a week to go until the election, the KCAI community is putting their beliefs, hopes, and concerns on display in A Flag that Flies High Enough, an installation of over 260 mixed-media flags on the Jannes Library lawn. Take a look!
This year, we have all been tested as individuals and communities. Students and faculty at KCAI have faced extraordinary circumstances, and they have responded with perseverance and grace. Although challenging, these times demonstrate the ways in which our experiences are deeply interconnected; and show us the power that art and design has to lift us up when we need it most. As you consider your charitable giving, we ask that you join us to help support our students and the work KCAI is doing to imagine what the world has yet to see.
