Just got back from the Mack/Towle wedding in Solvang, CA and also a side road trip up to San Francisco. Lincoln is at the age where a kindle can keep him entertained for up to 30 minutes so it made our travel experience with a toddler a little bit easier. My mind and body are tired but my heart is full and I can’t wait to have more amazing travel experiences with my little boy ... P.S. Helping little Lincoln step into his spirituality and feminine energy

Some moments of motherhood are pure magic mixed in with pure frustration. It continues to amaze me that one can feel so much love and so much overwhelm at the same time. His smiles makes my heart melt while his constant crabby wales in the evening makes me want to pull my hair out. Sometimes I wonder what social media would look and sound like if all the mothers shared how they were REALLY feeling each day. It still feels so taboo to talk about how some moments I crave silen...ce and alone time. How I can only handle about 20 min of playtime on the floor before I want to do something more productive. And then a little giggle escapes his lips and I forgot what I was just mad about as I’m put under the spell of motherhood once again. I’m so grateful for Lincoln and this new mothering journey and I have to constantly remind myself of who I was before I became a mother so I don’t lose sight of her...
