We believe people are trying to get tests to schools (and into our communities) so that we can protect the health of students and continue to operate in person. But, the reality is that there are no guarantees. LPA was lucky enough to have the chance to order test independently to support our commitment to reopening safely on Tuesday, January 18th. We aren’t lying when we say LPA has the BEST parents around. They sent us care packages with snacks just because 2 years into a pandemic and another shut down is hard. It’s hard on kids, parents, and staff. But it’s also shown just how resilient we can be and how much we can accomplish in caring for each other and doing our best. #lpa #lpapride #lpateam

Lafayette Preparatory Academy is hiring several teaching positions- Kindergarten, 4th Grade- teaches reading and writing predominantly while the other teacher teaches math, science, and social studies, and 2 Special Education positions. 1 will focus predominantly in support of our Middle School program and the other is a split role- 1/2 time supporting academic minutes for students with IEPs and 1/2 time supporting Social-Emotional Learning in the school with small groups and whole-class guidance lessons. This week is Assistant Principal Appreciation Week and at LPA we have the 2 BEST APs around. Dean Wade and Mr. Bosch work tirelessly to build a strong community at LPA. Their relationships with students, parents, and staff drive their work to create a loving, joyful, rigorous learning environment for ALL students.
