A small (1.9%) increase goes to the full Senate, but if approved still has to make it through the House and be signed by the President. Update: the White House says employees should report to work for a normal work day Tuesday.

Congress has approved back pay for employees that got furloughed during the shutdown. Several LIUNA Local 29F members that work hard on the weekends are affected.
