Blast off! We'll begin enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year soon! In addition to our standard curriculum, Marian students are offered after-school opportunities for learning, empowerment, character growth, and leadership development. These programs help students transition into activities in high school where they develop healthy habits and positive lifestyle choices for life. Our 5th graders recently worked on a community project called Blankets of Hope that included writing letters of encouragement to accompany blankets they gave to those who are experiencing homelessness. We work to bring brightness to our community and empower each girl to create positive change. Some of our favorite messages: Be you! You are wonderful, you are loved, and you will get through this!... Stay safe, have hope, and also believe in yourself! I know it is tough out there but you can do it. Here's to a wonderful new year of learning and community service!
In addition to a rigorous curriculum and empowering enrichment, Marian Girls are taught virtues and strategies to help with stress, anxiety and more. This knowledge provides our students with the confidence needed to thrive and succeed. #EducatingGirlsForLife

Last week Mrs. Gunn, our school counselor, secured and distributed full Thanksgiving meals to 46 Marian families. Mrs. Gunn has been independently coordinating this holiday effort, with support from her Webster Groves community, for five years!!! We are are so grateful for her compassion and commitment to Marian Girls.
A Marian Girl uplifts her peers and her community. This week, 5th grade students in Marian's Kindness Club completed a "Blankets of Hope" project. The students wrote letters of hope and encouragement and tied them to blankets. These blankets will be distributed to people who are experiencing homelessness and those in need.

We are so proud of our Marian Grads for getting out there and voting yesterday, and before the election! For most of them, this is their first presidential election. Even the girls away at school made sure to send in their absentee ballots in or took initiative to register with their campus address. Over the last few weeks we've witnessed very thoughtful conversations. Marian Girls are the future. They are leaders. And they join us in our mission to foster justice, peace and equity.
Leading up to this very important day, Marian Girls have been reflecting on the traits of great leaders. Below is a small portion of an essay on empathy, written by Amirra, an 8th grader at Marian. Today we raise their voices, to ensure their voices are heard! "...The future is being silenced. The world's next leaders are being ignored... Still we try... We try to support. We try to listen. We try to feel. My generation is powerful. Learning online, being separated from other human beings, staying in our homes. As a child there isn't much I can do without being told how I should do it, but I am the future. I will speak my truth. I will listen and gain knowledge. I will learn respectfully. Most importantly, I WILL empathize." Marian community, please feel free to share if you are inspired!
Instead of Marian’s typical Trivia Night, we will be hosting a VIRTUAL Trivia Night on November 14th! We hope you can join us! This year, we will be partnering with Trivia Hub to make this event a success! Attendees will have the chance to participate in three rounds of competitive trivia with six to eight questions led by a professional host. You can purchase tickets, read FAQs for the event, and find a short timeline on our Marian Trivia Night - Powered by GiveSmart page: https://MarianTrivia20.givesmart.com
