Today is All Souls Day. We pray for our sisters and brothers who have gone before us this year. They have ended their service on Earth and passed from death to new life in company with Christ. We pray that God may welcome them and shine His face upon them with all the saints of heaven.... We pray especially for all who were victims of COVID-19. May all be brought to rest in God’s loving arms and the comfort of God’s peace. Eternal rest, grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.

"Probably the most challenging thing we've encountered in our careers." We stand in awe of what Mercy caregivers have done this year with the support of so many of our co-workers. May God continue to hold each of you in the year ahead.

COVID-19 patients are prone to blood clots - and this new procedure helps. For another patient, it came to Springfield not a moment too soon. https://bit.ly/38AIgVa

On All Saints Day, November 1, we pray that we may be inspired by the witness of all the Saints and strive for holiness every day of our lives. May the examples of the lives of the Saints guide us to live for others as Jesus has taught us. May the prayers of all the Saints strengthen and comfort us as we live our lives in the promise of eternal life.... Amen.

On an ordinary day, you’d find Dr. David Barbe seeing patients at his Mercy Clinic office in rural Missouri. And in some ways, that’s how today went, too, after an early morning videoconference. His patients probably weren’t even aware he’d just been installed as the president (!) of the World Medical Association. Help us congratulate Dr. Barbe! Read more at bit.ly/3oHYkfb.
