Missouri hospitals' impact goes far beyond the bedside. In 2019, #MoHospitals provided $3.5 BILLION statewide in community benefit. Total community benefit includes charity care, absorbing bad debt and the unpaid costs of treating beneficiaries of Medicare and Medicaid, helping educate and train the health care workforce, offering free clinic services, and donating to local causes. Tag your local hospital to thank them for all they do for your community! #HospitalWeek #MyHospital

Missouri hospitals have started hosting large-scale vaccination events in their communities. BJC HealthCare, Saint Luke's Health System & Fitzgibbon Hospital are just a few hospitals across the state who have begun facilitating these events in an effort to quickly and efficiently distribute vaccinations to qualifying Missourians. As more vaccine becomes available across the state, more community large-scale vaccination events will be held. Please check your local health care provider's website for events near you.
