Missouri State University Collegiate Recovery Program 02.11.2020

Missouri State University recently held a one-day addiction recovery summit to educate attendees around different aspects of addiction and recovery, including c...ollegiate recovery. Our Executive Director had the opportunity to attend and deliver the keynote address. Years before the addiction summit took place, the Counseling Center received a grant to start a collegiate recovery program. That program turned into SoBEAR, which still exists as a student organization where students can get involved in the community and have leadership roles. However, about three years ago the Counseling Center branched off to form the Collegiate Recovery Program to brand themselves as a national program.
