We grieve for the loss of our friend and fellow employee/coworker. We share this post from his son Ric Ramos who paid a great tribute to him. We are forever grateful for his contributions and the memories he created. He will never be forgotten. It is with a heavy heart that we announce that my dad, Ramil Ramos has passed away peacefully on October 14, 2020 in Springfield, MO, USA due to Severe Hypoxemic Respiratory Failure. Our family believed that everything happens for a re...ason, so no matter how difficult the situation is, we must trust that God's plans are greater than ours and we continue to pray to our Heavenly Father to give us the strength that we need to overcome this. HalleluYah! Known as Chef Ramil, for his profession and passion for cooking, he has worked at some of the best hotels and restaurants here and abroad, namely, The Peninsula, Le Meridien, The Shangrila, Dusit Hotel Nikko and Nakato. Despite the said experiences under his belt for over 35 Years, he is perceived as simple, easy going and humble (Except when it comes to his children, he tends to brag about us a lot!) My youngest brother, Renzo is taking up his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy in the University of the Philippines, Diliman. My brother, Rob is a Art Department Head in Glendale High school, as well as an avid traveller who has managed to accomplish his goal to visit 30 countries before the age of 30. While myself on the other hand, followed after my father’s foot steps and I am now the Executive Sous Chef for The Peninsula Hotel here in the Philippines. Raising 3 "Makulit" boys is not an easy task and we are happy that my dad has met a strong, principled, and beautiful, Vietnamese woman like my mom who keeps us in check while my dad was busy working countless hours to provide for the family. As for his hobbies, he likes to do chores on his day off (No joke!) Especially, laundry and ironing of his own chef whites. No one touches his uniform except for him only and he did just that on the night before he was rushed to the ICU. He is one of those guys who never runs out of things to do whether it be at work or at home. All day, everyday and up to the very end. From a chef to a loving father, his hard work and efforts will not be forgotten with how far he has taught me and my brothers in getting where we are today. Dad is truly an example of someone who has bore the fruits of labor and one who has helped others grow with his selfless efforts. We thank you all for the prayers and comforting words we have received from our families and friends.

Beginning Monday October, 12 2020 we will be changing our hours. Afternoon carryout availability will now be from 12:00pm-2:30pm Monday- Saturday. Our hours for Sunday carryout will remain the same. Our dinning hours will be extended until 10:00pm Monday-Saturday. Thank you to all of our customers for continuing to support us. We wouldn't be here without you. We then open for dining room and curbside until 9 pm. Reservations are highly recommended, but we leave room for some walkins, but due to compacity regulations we can't get all in.
