We are seeking an energetic & enthusiastic team member to fill this 18-20 hour per week position at our Belle office campus location. Clinic experience is desired but not a must. January is glaucoma awareness month. Glaucoma is a leading cause of vision loss and blindness in the United States. Glaucoma has no symptoms in its early stages. The only way to find out if you have glaucoma is to get a comprehensive dilated eye exam. There’s no cure for glaucoma, but early treatment can often stop the damage and protect your vision. ... While anyone can get glaucoma, individuals at higher risk include: African Americans over age 40, individuals over age 60 (reported higher incidence in latino/hispanic population within > 60 YO group), & individuals with a family history of the disease. Just breathe! Our high-efficiency particulate (H13 HEPA) medical grade air purification devices help ensure that our office air stays as clean as possible.

We typically recommend ways to limit UV light to protect our eyes, but we are now using UV light to sanitize our eye wear! This UV-C box allows our office to sanitize our eyewear effectively & quickly, without the use of chemicals. Without getting too technical, our UV-C light sanitizer acts by penetrating the thin wall of a small microscopic organism and destroying its nucleic acids. This disrupts the DNA structure and either kills it or renders it unable to reproduce ... and therefore harmless. The bottom line? Our patients can more safely & freely try on eyewear!

If you arrive without one, we will provide one for you to wear. You must properly wear this throughout your visit. Our team members will also be wearing masks.
