The price of the cedar boards I use has gone up to the point where it is not practical to use it because the price of the chair would be so high. Its hard to tell if it will ever come down again to anything close to what it was. So I made a buy of as much as I could lay my hands on in order to keep the price of my chairs the same. It won't last long though. After its gone, it'll be yellow pine whether you want it or not.

The price of wood has gone way up. An 8' low grade 2x4 is $6.00 and change. They say the industry will catch up this winter, but no one can say if prices will come down. One good way is to eliminate Canadian tariffs. They add 20% to our cost.

Its been a very long summer. I must have done a couple hundred Adirondack chairs already, and still more orders on the schedule.

Been rather busy this year, not much time to update. Running about a month behind in orders.

Couple of changes to this one. Seat is darker and bottom cubicles have thinner supports.

Wife bought this for her husband who apparently leaves his jackets on the back of chairs. Now who hasn't forced their wife into action over that? :)
