BACK UP OFFERS. DID YOU KMOW ? A backup offer is like an normal purchase contract . Once both the seller and the buyer have accepted and signed it, a backup offer is a legally binding contract. You keep looking just in case, later you find a home you love . seller needs to release you from purchase contract. Read term of contract. Cant be in 2 contracts to purchase at same time . Seller must disclose how many accepted backup offers and which position you hold.
