We all want a great course to shoot, and River Hills wants to provide you with one! You have spoken and I have been listening, fresh targets, reliable traps, nicer facilities, lower cost. It is ALL coming, I promise! Vicki and I bought the club almost 4 years ago and are now in a position to start growing and updating the facility. As of October 1st we now offer memberships and discounts, this means lower costs! You can help speed these improvements along by supporting... River Hills through the purchase of an annul membership. First on our list is new equipment, I have collected bids for 30 new traps with wireless release systems. To help kick things off we are offering a free round of 100 sporting targets to anyone who purchases a membership in the month of October, 2018! No good deed goes unpunished... Thinking I was doing my customers a favor I stayed open this week so everyone could get in a few final targets before the winter break. My bad, even with 3 signs posted explaining the situation a few still felt the need to bitch out my 16 year old daughter. I'm sorry but this is totally unacceptable, River Hills is closed for the winter as of today. I hate to have to do this just because of a few customers but I will not stand for my daughter to be treated in a disrespectful manner when she has no control over the decisions I make.

Based on the forecast for rain (and myself being stuck out of town) we will not be open Saturday Sept 28.

Our last League of the year starts his Wednesday evening, August 21st. Make sure you come out and join us for the fun! 50 targets + hot dogs and hamburgers every night!

Little Fox River is hosting the Missouri State Sporting Clays Championship on July 25-28, 2019. If you haven't done so, you can register on IClays. This helps with planning and food. They have a great meal planned on Saturday evening that is free to all registered shooters. Extra meal tickets can be purchased for $10 as well. There will be door prizes and a drawing for a gun raffle. There will be payout money for the Main and Prelim as well as trophies for all events. Back to... Great afternoon for the Cooper County 4H Trap Shoot! It's always awesome to see the kids shooting. Thank you everyone that came out and a special thank you to all the parents and volunteers for making this happen every year.

There is no way this can bite me in the butt again, we are canceling league for Wednesday, June 19th. Looking at the forecast they are calling for 70% chance of rain up until 7 p.m. I just cannot imagine it being a good night to shoot.
