Beautiful Spring day on the James. Calves are looking good.
These boys have been hiding out all winter. If you're needing one that's ready to go to work shoot us a PM or give us a call.
If you're looking for a bull that's ready to go to work this spring, give us a call or shoot us a message. We hope to get pictures this week of the bulls we have ready. Have a great week and enjoy this beautiful weather.
Hope all have stayed safe and warm here in Southwest Missouri and other areas getting this brutal cold weather. Last night we got several more inches of snow however the temperatures weren't -17 like the night before. We just aren't use to this kind of weather here. It truly is beautiful around the farm. I took these quick photos while feeding last night. We had a couple calves born at the beginning of the storms. Very unexpected but it sure makes you thankful for good Mommas like these that take care of their own baby. When the temps were negative they kept them cuddle in close on hay and in wind breaks. The calves were running and jumping enjoying the snow yesteday. We've been very fortunate. Praying for all our fellow farmers and livestock experiencing extreme weather conditions. God bless!
Merry Christmas from our Family to yours. May we not forget the true meaning of Christmas. We're Thankful to have so many great people in our life.

It's a Beautiful cool morning in Southwest Missouri. We've not offered any red cattle up until this year. Both red offerings are headed to their new homes today. This yearling commercial % bull is going to Hutton Valley Missouri. We've had our eyes on him and his half sister from day one. He's out of an optimizer bull raised and sold by us and a commercial cow also raised here on the farm. Alex has always loved black cattle but on occasion is a sucker for good reds. Have a great day.
We've been dry for months with ponds drying out, river looking more like a creek, and feeding hay long before usual. This week we finally have had a few days of rain. Unfortunately, the damage is already done to much of the grass however we're Thankful. Its a damp foggy morning on the farm with no dust.
