I occasionally hear from clients that say the laws in the US aren't fair. Some even say they're leaving the country. I have to politely point out that our laws are the most generous in the world, especially when it comes to bankruptcy law. So if you have financial difficulties, have trouble sleeping at night, or just need some solid financial advice, you're welcome to visit for a free initial consultation at one of our two fully staffed offices in St. Louis or Jefferson County. You're also welcome to call my cell phone (314) 438-7476.

I do see the economy improving during the last 18 months or so. Let's hope it continues for another 10 years. I hope I never see another rough patch like this again.

This is a busy time of year for bankruptcy filings. If you need advice, we can usually answer your questions and make appointments usually within a very short time period. I normally answer the phone until 7:30 or 8:00 pm if that helps. I also make weekend appointments, but you'll need to call my cell at 314 438-7476.

I'm I the only one who's wondering what's been going on with Farmers insurance company the past couple of months. They've been running ads the last couple of months telling us to essentially wonder how bad their insurance really is. They're calling it, "know your gaps." That's when your in an accident or need to file a claim, they're going to tell you, "sorry, you're not covered." Good night Mrs. Jones. Have a great Thanksgiving." I decided to look into this and guess what. T...hey've been sued in several major lawsuits for reducing coverage without disclosing it to policyholders in violation of state insurance laws. So now I guess this is their strategy. Throw their name out there and act like it's no big deal. I wonder who their ad agency is that came up with this one. I guess we really are stupid if we fall for this one. The response should be, "you're fired Farmers!" See more

I often get asked, "when is the best time to seek legal advice?" My usual response is that most clients after we discuss their case admit they should have sought the advice long before they actually came in. Most people try to solve their own problems and that's understandable. Eventually the pain is too severe and people take the time to come in. Most people are relieved when they finally come in and see there is help. We never charge for the initial consultation. We even answer the phone after normal business hours as I have them forwarded to my cell phone.
