New art storage means a chance to wander through the archives...came across these conceptual sketches from very early in my professional drawing life, still one of my favorites. It’s amazing the number of revisions, modifications, and small subtle changes that go through a design process from concept to reality...this car is still being built, and there have been many modifications done after these initial sketches were completed. Two of my recent favorites, that were delivered last month! These are both of the same Cessna Citation Latitude. The first drawing was sadly damaged enroute to the client (the inherent risk of shipping) - the second was made as a replacement for the first. I absolutely LOVED the first piece - but have fallen equally for the second one...which was delivered intact! ... Luckily these went to an amazing client - and with some trimming the first one was salvageable and presented as a gift to the other pilot of the jet. Hoping they both enjoy these pieces of art for years to come!
