The band concert on Thursday evening will be LIVE streamed on the school district’s YouTube channel!! Please share this link with any family and friends that cannot attend the concert in-person. Due to copyright restrictions, the concert video will not be shared at any other time, so you must watch at the designated time. YouTube Link: https://youtu.be/a92B0EOcCq0 Thursday, October 22 7th and 8th grade Bands -- 6:00 pm High School Concert Band -- 7:15 pm... If you are planning to attend the concert in-person, please use the bleachers to socially distance yourselves. School district policy requires masks to be worn, this includes band students (they may remove masks once they are seated and preparing to play their instrument). 7th and 8th graders should wear their red band t-shirts and pants. High school students should wear solid black. If you have any questions, please let us know! We are looking forward to our first concert of the year!!! See more

SJHS Girls' Basketball season is here! The first game is Tuesday, October 6th, but there will not be tickets sold to this game. They will be given to the players to distribute. There will be no entry into the games without a ticket. GOOD LUCK LADY BULLDOGS!!
Coach Dement’s Automation and Robotics classes were fortunate enough to hear from three different engineers in the past two days. SHS alum Keldon Warfield is a controls engineer and shared how he designs and controls conveyor belts for various companies throughout the United States and even the world. SHS alum Chris Lambert is a civil engineer and shared how he has designed many of the streets in Sikeston in addition to many other structures in our area. Our final engineer was Makayla Waldner. She’s a former Mississippi State Soccer standout who is just beginning her career as a NASA Technology Transfer Program Licensing Engineer. She works with bringing NASA inventions to the real world.
Good luck to the SHJS Football team as they face the Farmington Knights tomorrow afternoon!! https://youtu.be/X0gB1pL5V_o
