On New Year’s Day, we celebrate the Feast of Mary, Mother of God. Our Mass schedule for this feast is: New Year’s Eve at 5:30 p.m. and New Year’s Day at 9:00 a.m.
Please join us for Christmas Mass on Christmas Eve at 3:00pm, 5:30pm and 10:00pm. Christmas Day Mass will be at 9:00. All liturgies will be live-streamed on our Facebook page. Blessings to everyone!
We have decided that we will NOT require reservations for any of the Christmas masses. We are grateful for the Knights of Columbus for purchasing the livestreaming equipment and for the Technology Committee’s hard work to ensure we have the livestream capability for all Christmas Masses. This will allow us to seat overflow from the church in the cafeteria and view the livestream Mass together with those in the body of church. Mass times for Christmas are: Christmas Eve at 3, 5:30 and 10 p.m. Christmas Day at 9 a.m. To read more visit out Website at https://stmartin.diojeffcity.org/.
We are discontinuing our SCRIP program and have a limited number of cards available to sell. Contact the parish office if you would like to purchase any. In particular, we have cards for Ruby Tuesday and Dunkin Donuts which are no longer in Jefferson City. If you know anyone in an area that has these stores this would make nice Christmas gifts.
As we prepare for Christmas break, 1st grade shares the story of the first Christmas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOjqEcuBFf0&feature=youtu.be
Today we celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the Gospel reading for today presents to us the story of the Annunciat...ion: "The angel Gabriel appears to Mary to announce the birth of Jesus, and Mary responds, 'Let it be done to me as you say.' Luke 1:26-38 Mary's affirmative response to this seemingly impossible message gives evidence to the grace we know that she possesses from God. Only one who is full of grace can be so receptive to and cooperative with the will of God. Because of this, Mary is the model of discipleship for all Christians. #AdventMoment #ImmaculateConception

Our technology team and audio/visual expert have been hard at work to bring a better live streaming experience to our community. Thank you to Nathan Brown, Paul Kirsch, Nathan Rackers, Chris Rustemeyer and Ed Faris for all of your hard work! It wasn’t easy getting cabling through some of the walls in church.
