Kimberling City Lodge has a temporary venue: The address is 11863 State Hwy 13 Suite D, Kimberling City, Missouri 65686 I believe the hours & days are Tuesday-Saturday ... 3PM-close. This is part of the Kimberling Inn property and was once called The Pier If you have time or are in the area, let’s help them out !

Attention Americanism Chairs in SW District. I have been the District Chairperson for a few years and am not sure I can continue at this particular time. I need a replacement. In our district we have dropped substantially except for Joplin and Alton Thayer Lodges participation in the Americanism Essay Contests. The theme this 2020-2021 year is "How Can Patriotism Be Demonstrated?" I will be happy to send out or you can look it up on line for the rules and forms. You must l...et me know, however. This is a good time for our students to get this little extra essay out while in quarantine or part-time school. The 1st deadline to Lodges is December 15th. Please let me know if interested in taking over as District Chair and/or if you plan to participate in the Americanism Essay Contest and need more info.
