TEDxUMKC: 2020 Vision will now be a VIRTUAL EVENT in accordance with Kansas City's COVID-19 occupancy limit on public venues as well as the National WWI Museum and Memorial's limits on in-person attendance. The event will still take place on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 1 pm in the National WWI Museum and Memorial, but will now be conducted via a virtual interactive live stream. Your original ticket(s) will be valid for the virtual event as well. We will be sending out in...dividualized interactive streaming links along with a pamphlet containing our program and event schedule to each of our ticket holders via email prior to the event. The ticket price includes a link to the interactive virtual event, a custom TEDxUMKC drawstring bag filled with a variety of individualized items related to the event, and a "2020 Vision" TEDxUMKC t-shirt. We will be releasing pick up times in the upcoming days for ticket holders to collect their t-shirts and promotional items. UPDATE: TEDxUMKC EVENT CANCELLED FOR 1/11/20 Due to inclement weather, the TEDxUMKC team and WWI Museum Administration have decided it is best for the event to be cancelled for 1/11/20. We believe the safety of everyone involved in the event is more important than the event itself.... Please keep a lookout for updates on our Facebook page as well as the discussion section of the TEDxUMKC:2020 Vision event page on how we will be proceeding forward in regards to tickets and rescheduling.

SOLD OUT! We officially have a full house for this Saturday and are looking forward to seeing all of you come listen to our wonderful lineup of speakers! Weather Update: The TEDxUMKC board and venue staff will try to their best ability to host the event this Saturday! Please check your emails and social media the day of the event for any updates or notifications! Finally, there will be no rescheduling or refunds for cancellation due to weather.
