Let’s talk about unplugging. One of my intentions for 2021 is to unplug more often & even more specifically before going to bed! Not only does it help you wind down quicker & help with better sleep but if you struggle with putting the phone down what better way to work on it then when you’re heading to bed? I’ve been charging my phone in another room for the past two months or so & it’s been SO helpful! Instead of scrolling social media I do my full night time routine (you ...know, hot shower to decompress, skincare routine, teeth, lotion, lip mask, etc.) then I read my kindle or a magazine till I fall asleep. Not only do I have to physically get out of bed when my alarm goes off (no snooze button for me ) but not having it on the table next to me has allowed a deeper more consistent night sleep!
