Lewis Morrow returns as a Playwright for No Sleep November 2020!! Lewis is a self-taught playwright whose first full length play One Difference was chosen as a finalist in the inaugural Detroit New Works Festival. Having written poetry, short stores and music, he tried his hand at playwrighting only to discover the complexities in bringing a story to the stage. He educated himself by reading the greats Wilson, Albee, Miller, O'Neil and Williams as well as finding influence... from contemporaries such as Ayad Akhtar, Dominique Morisseau. He has had workshops, productions and readings in Houston, Los Angeles, Detroit, North Carolina and Las Vegas. While his pieces lend a voice to the Black experience, his mission in writing is to create stories that lend perspective to specific human condition or experience the audience/reader would otherwise be without. Get your ticket for this exciting virtual event now and watch as Lewis's newest piece is made! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tlrs-no-sleep-november-2020-ti See more

American Idiot will no longer be playing at The Living Room Theatre due to postponement. 1818 McGee is officially closing its doors, and will not reopen. We are still working on our transition to The Black Box, which we plan to complete as soon as it is safe to do so. It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our long-time Crossroads home.... If you've been a part of our journey there, leave a comment with a favorite memory. We're grateful for every last one of you.
