Preludes at the Pubs has been rescheduled! Join us this coming Tuesday, November 3, at Logboat Brewing Company for live music, delicious libations, and better weather! Registrations are encouraged at themosy.org/virtuosity
Due to weather, tonight’s Preludes at the Pubs is canceled! We are working to potentially reschedule and will keep you updated!
It may be raining, but this week’s Preludes at the Pubs at Günter Hans- Artisan Café is still on, featuring Leme Ensemble! We will be in the beautiful Barrel Room. Come on out! #mosy #symphony #music #fall
Tonight is Preludes at the Pubs at Gunter Hans European Pub & Cafe! Seating is extremely limited and on a first come first serve basis for those who did not pre-register. Enjoy 51 Strings (Maestro Kirk Trevor and the beautiful Maria Duhova Trevor - Harpist) playing during last week’s Preludes. Thanks to Visit Columbia MO for supporting local musicians and business by sponsoring Preludes at the Pubs.
Happy National Boss’ Day to our favorite bow tie guy, Executive Director Trent Rash! Thank you for everything you do for MOSY and our community! #NationalBossDay #mosy #bestbossever #neverfullydressedwithoutabowtie
We are so honored to have been a nominee for the Children's Grove and the Missouri Business Alert Kindness in Business Awards this year. Congratulations to all the honorees! #mosy #kindness #mosycares
Happiest of birthdays to our resident doctor of music, Ashley Pribyl! We are so glad to have her expertise and energy on the MOSY team. She is happy to share a birthday with one of her favorite modern composers, Kaija Saariaho. Saariaho has composed works for opera, voice, and solo cello and violin. #mosy #symphony #happybirthday
Today we celebrate and honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day and the contributions of Indigenous composers and musicians. Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate is an Emmy winning Chickasaw classical composer and pianist. He is dedicated to the development of American Indian classical composition and is inspired by American Indian history and culture. https://youtu.be/gDkgerD8ZEc
Our sincerest thanks to the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Columbia MO) for supporting Preludes at the Pubs! Join us in thanking the CVB for their continued belief in the importance the performing arts have in our community!
