TheraCare Outpatient Services

This year TheraCare plans to reach more families than ever before! Last year we had over 11,000 evaluation and treatment visits in the clinic, served in eight school districts and one cooperative that serves over 15 districts, and we began serving children through First Steps. This is just the short list of things we are doing! Plans for continued growth means we had to bring on the brightest and best to keep things running smoothly. These two long term TheraCare employees mo...re than meet the bill! Help me say congratulations to them on their new positions with TheraCare! Kristen Lantz has been an SLP with TheraCare since 2016! Her dedication to the schools we serve has been unparalleled. She has stepped into the role of Therapy Operations Coordinator for the schools and First Steps. We look forward to seeing her growth as a leader and mentor! Allyson Beary has been an SLP at TheraCare since 2017! She’s a specialist in AAC and so devoted to the process of seeing clients succeed! She steps into the role of Therapy Operations Coordinator for our clinic. Great things are ahead with her at the helm! We are calling 2020 The Year We Stuck Together! We know we asked a lot of you and you stuck right in there with us! We asked you to participate in teletherapy sessions and you stuck with us.... We asked you to transition to an online payment system and you stuck with us. We asked you to check in and wait in the car during sessions, and you did so patiently, sticking with us. We asked you to help us take extra precautions to keep everyone as safe as possible and you stuck with us. We know we weren’t the only ones asking you to make changes and the sacrifices you have made this year for your children is not lost on us. TheraCare would not be what we are without your support. As 2020 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for sticking with us. We love our clients and their families. Working with you all has provided us an opportunity to stay focused on the positive throughout this year. Thank you for helping us find small victories to remember 2020. We are excited to see where 2021 leads TheraCare and are so glad to be on the journey with you. Happy New Year!

We are so excited to announce that our BCBA, Bria, has returned to Springfield and we will again be offering behavioral support services!! This go around our behavioral services will look a little different and we can wait to share with you! Services provided will include behavioral assessments and family centered treatment in our clinic, in your home, or in your child’s preschool or daycare setting. Due to the way we are structuring our program, your child does not have to h...ave a diagnosis of Autism to receive services.
