United Dance

Announcement- As many of you know, I have been heartbroken my mother’s dance studio is closing. I thought I was done with dance altogether and knew in my heart I could not run a dance studio because it wasn’t right for my family. United Dance has become my home away from home, and I have loved many of your kids as my own. An opportunity presented itself to me that is a great opportunity for myself and Layla and I am excited to take it. I will be joining Kim Creasman as a ...new staff member of The Pulse Performing Arts Center. I will teach four tap classes, an intermediate/advanced acro class, and a beginning contemporary class. I know everyone who has called United home has very difficult decisions to make. The owner Curtis is offering an open house for United Dance Families tonight at 6:30pm to give tours and answer questions about rec and competitive classes at The Pulse. Competition auditions are July 11th. I truly wish everyone the best and hope everyone finds their new dance home. If you are going elsewhere, please keep in touch. With the most love, Amber

To all my students and former students, no matter where you land, I am very proud to have been a part of your life and wish you nothing but love and the best! To all my colleagues at UD, you have pushed me to be the best I can be. I value your talent, art, ideas, thoughts, and criticisms and will miss you dearly. As we go our separate ways, please know that you hold a special place in my (and my childrens') heart. As we end an era with UD, I am stepping forward as a new sta...ff member of The Pulse Performing Arts Center this fall. I will forever be grateful to my UD family and Ms. Vickie who gave me and my children a place to express ourselves. We are Family. . Thanks to everyone who came out for Vickie’s retirement party. It was wonderful celebrating with families from throughout the 35 years of United Dance.

SENIOR ROLL CALL! It's time we put the spotlight on the wonderful seniors we've had the privilege of getting to know through their years at United Dance. Meet Deannah! She has been with us for 3 years and we've enjoyed her hardworking and sweet personality so much. Deannah's favorite memory at United was her first lock in with us because she actually never experienced a team lock in before. She plans to attend Avila University and major in Mental Psychology. Best of luck to you Deannah, we know you're going to do great! #udforever
