Versailles Middle School

Here are pictures from part 2 of the lab in Mrs. Freeman’s science class. Today they had to get their food from the "grass" but they were allowed to choose what food they wanted. Then they graphed the class results.

These are pictures from our "Battle of the Beaks" Lab in Mrs Freeman’s 8th grade science class. Students are using different "beaks" to pick up their "food". They will learn how some beaks are better for gathering different foods.

2nd quarter grade cards will be going home with students today at the very end of the day.

Matwarming Spirit Week Monday, Jan. 11-Thursday, Jan. 14

The 8th grade game was very exciting! Holy smokes. They were down 13 to 23 with 4:34 to go in the 3rd. At 2:53 they took the lead 26 to 25 and didn't look back.... The final score was 48 to 25! Talk about some determination and never quit attitudes! I'm glad I was there to witness it and capture it!

After school tutoring will continue this week. We will evaluate tutoring needs and have new tutoring groups set to begin in mid to late January.
