WCC has an opportunity to help the homeless of St. Louis during this cold winter through 25:35 Ministries. This is the same ministry that Phil Milligan has helped supply sub-zero sleeping bags to those in need. This ministry is in need of men and women’s new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarfs and socks. They cannot accept any crocheted items because the wind still goes through these materials. There is an immediate need for men’s boxers, especially small and medium.... NO BRIEFS please! During the next three Sundays, January 10, 17 and 26 there will be a box in the Children’s Foyer for you to bring donations. This ministry is based on Matthew 25:35-36, For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
