At the beginning of the pandemic, back in 1970 (or March as it was), several of us at Willoughby contracted COVID-19. Thankfully we are all fine now. Here's the thing: we thought we understood how to keep each other safe with hand washing and surface cleaning but it turned out not to be enough. So when public/private health collaboration, Comeback KC asked us to create social media communications to help bring home the importance of social distancing and mask-wearing, we were glad to help. Leaders of the new terminal construction at KCI, the Edgemoor team, have reached a milestone! They have added more than 100 Kansas City-certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) to the project. With football season fast approaching, salsa season can’t be far behind. Our latest brand identity and packaging system can be seen on eight varieties of dips and sauces with a zesty Spanish influence and unlimited possibilities.

It's a big day for the @KCStreetcar and we're looking forward to seeing this expansion come to life. We started our journey with the Streetcar back in 2014 and not even we could have imagined how much KC has embraced it!

Way back in April, we jumped in to provide branding and communications support needed to launch Chef Collective KC and The Community Meals Project. Since then, they have prepared 1000s of meals and delivered them to area agencies, organizations, and neighborhood groups that are the lifeline to Kansas Citians who are struggling to access nutritious food in these unprecedented times. To keep the kitchens cooking, they have launched the 10,000 meals challenge so families who have been devastated by COVID do not have to go hungry. As the summer wanes the tomatoes ripen, melons take over, zucchini gets completely out of control and we are grateful for the bounty.
