BUG ALERT!! Look close you can see thes little devils the Japanese Beetles! They will eat blooms and leaves on most ornamental plants! Why don’t they go eat weeds? I guess someone needs to train a crew of these to the plants we don’t want. Anyways we can spray your landscapes if you have these little pests. Another thing that helps a lot is to do grub control. This will kill the larvae that these hatch from. July is the optimal time to apply grub killer.

Notice the tree in the left side of the top photo, well that is where the retaining wall needed to be built, so we moved the tree. Bottom picture shows the tree doing good so far! I’m rooting for this 5 autumn blaze maple because it still has a long life to live!
