Emma, a YVC volunteer and member of our International Youth Advisory Board, takes a moment to think about the past year and ask a question many of us have pondered, The question becomes, how can we remain connected and feel connected in an age where we are required to stay 6 feet apart?

Spearheaded by Robert Young, founder of The Beauty and Praise of Altruists Foundation, this collaborative video elevates youth voice and connects young people doing good work.

At YVC, we value the relationships we have throughout the network. This means we have a pool of highly invested youth development leaders who are there for each other. Over the years, we have spent time talking about recruitment, fundraising, and best practices. While these are all good reasons to collaborate, sometimes we need something more fundamental. Mark your calendars! On September 17, the 15 and Mahomies Foundation will hold a star-studded, virtual event celebrating Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes’ 25th birthday and raising funds for 15 charitable organizations. YVC is one of these beneficiaries! In addition to Patrick Mahomes and some of his teammates, there will also be appearances from Paul Rudd and music legend Quincy Jones. The celebration is free to attend and we invite you to pass along details to your friends and family. Thank you, 15 and Mahomies, for your generosity.
