We understand with the many different names of massage, both proper and slang, as well as different modalities that it is very easy to become intimated. We are always ready to tailor our client’s needs to the massage that will give them the best results. Our client’s needs are our number one priority and our massages are results driven. Each massage begins with... assessing the client’s areas of concern and where they would like to focus the massage. The therapist then performs the massage, using different techniques that best suits the client’s problem areas and that is going to give the client the most effective results. This could be pain relief, increased mobility and range of motion or stress relief, just to name a few. The therapist will then help the client set goals and a plan for future treatments, whether this is at home care or follow up massage care. Maintenance care is very important when treating with massage, so it’s imperative the client discuss this with the therapist. Bodyworks accepts many client referrals from other professionals in Sedalia and surrounding communities. If a client was injured in a car accident and needed additional therapies to help advance their recovery, they could be referred. Or if a client was having trouble sleeping or dealing with the anxiety of a stressful situation in their life, they could also be referred. In fact, Bodyworks has had both of these types of referrals with successful outcomes. We have had referrals from medical doctors, OBGYN’s, chiropractors, physical therapists, as well as other massage therapists. We are more than happy to work with other professionals, as it gives our clients the best chance at achieving their health care goals. Bodyworks has a broad range of clients. We see everyone from college students, CEO’s, doctors, stay at home and working moms, farmers and beyond. There is no limit to the care we provide and we are happy to help anyone.
