UPDATE: Power should be restored for affected areas. Public Works is aware of a power outage on KREI. Crews are mobilizing to come see what’s happened and correct it.

Update: Power should be restored. The City of Farmington manages your Electric, Water, and Sewer utilities. If you are experiencing a disruption in your utilit...ies please notify our Public Works Team that you have an emergency such as no electricity, loss of water pressure, or sewer backup. If you would like to send an emergency service request for one of these issues, please call the numbers below. The order will be dispatched and you will be contacted as soon as possible. It is free for Farmington Residents and Businesses and will call you, text, or send and email if you are in an affected area. Our utility crews are working on a power outage related to a problem at the substation near Camelot Nursing Home. If you’re without power, we anticipate restoring your power in next 20-30 minutes as we divert power from our other substations. Later, after repairs are made, there may be a brief outage as we restore operations at the down substation. Please spread the word. Updates to follow.
Spring Clean-Up week is quickly approaching! City crew will begin at 7:30 a.m. each morning. Please have rubbish in containers at the curb or in the alley. We will not take anything your trash service takes, i.e. trash bags, cardboard boxes, or items in garbage cans. No leaves, limbs, brush, lumber, shingles, siding or construction waste products will be picked up. We will not take anything larger than two men can handle. Appliances must have compressors removed. If we ...are unable to complete a ward in a single day, we will finish the following day. Please check to see what ward you are in, and leave all rubbish by the curb on your specified morning, no later than 7:30 a.m. There is no call-back. Please be prompt putting out your Spring Clean-Up items. Tires may be taken to the Street Department at 210 Industrial Drive on Friday, April 9th for a fee of $2.50 per tire, $3.50 if mounted on wheel. We will only accept passenger car and light truck (pickup) tires.
