The most magical moment happened tonight. While waiting for my session to arrive by The Muny, it looked like this sweet couple just got engaged. On Wednesday I was lucky enough to witness my best friend @colleenmcevoy ring the bell ! She finished 16 grueling rounds of chemo with the most amazing nurses and staff @sitemancancercenter. Over 80 friends and family were able to watch this amazing moment via Zoom. She is an amazing physician, mom, wife, and friend! 2 more big steps to come with surgery and radiation but we all know how strong she is and soon all of this will be in the past. Interrupting the feed of gorgeous families, cute kids, snuggles and fall colors for some beach time. We had the most wonderful day at the beach looking for shells and playing in the water. It was the first time all 3 of the kids loved being at the beach for more than 45 minutes. So glad I took this break from work for family time. A few years ago I would have been too nervous to leave during prime photography season. I would be worried about miss...ing potential booked sessions. Now, I know I need to take care of myself and family. AND I didn’t even bring my real camera. Iphone for the win! When I take a much needed break, I feel rejuvenated and ready to tackle the rest of the fall season.
