Out of the Boat

We have been on a mini-outreach with the ywam team in a town a couple hours away. We have been working with a wonderful church here. It is a town of 120,000 people and only a handful of churches. In the last 2 days, We have done street evangelism, a program in the central square, hospital ministry passing out food and praying for people, ministering at the church on Sunday, and neighborhood kid ministry where we passed out toys and shared about Jesus with all the families. It has been such a powerful time and so many awesome testimonies.

Yesterday, we went to an all women's rehab center. Our friend Fabienne brought a great devotion. We prayed with them at the end to overcome anger. Jesus was so present and real. It was a powerful time. He is always for the brokenhearted...he wants to mend their hearts.

Last night we invited pastors and parents to come to the ywam base to hear and learn about talking with your children about purity and the subjects that go with that topic.. The need is so great in these times. The stories that some shared were heart breaking. Everyone is very aware of the problem we face. I think the first step is what these amazing people did come, listen, share and determine with Jesus all things are possible. Nobody is perfect, trust me, I am the first to admit it. But I believe our kids are worth the fight! We will fight for this generation to be free.

I had the kids spontaneously video a drama to show some Mexican youth who are going on a mission trip and need to learn the drama. This was the second run through. I am so impressed! Seriously some amazing actors or just a bunch of kids who have done dramas their whole lives. Haha! So worth the watch....
